KaizenOpsBY K8SVOODOO LLCPrivacy Policy
Effective and last updated: September 9, 2026
KaizenOps is a DevSecOps learning app. We collect only the account information needed to sign you in and the learning-progress information needed to track your lessons and labs. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or create advertising profiles.
1. Who operates KaizenOps
This policy applies to the KaizenOps mobile application and its supporting services. KaizenOps is operated by k8svoodoo LLC, 3301 Richmond Hwy. #1384, Alexandria, VA 22305, United States. Privacy, access, correction, and deletion requests may be sent to [email protected].
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, username or display name, Firebase user identifier, and basic account authentication information.
- Learning progress: lessons and labs you start or complete and related progress records needed to show where you are in the KaizenOps curriculum.
Your password is processed and protected by Firebase Authentication. k8svoodoo LLC cannot view your password and does not store a readable copy of it in Firestore.
KaizenOps does not ask for or store your birth date, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, payment-card number, or advertising identifier. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs.
3. How we use information
- Create and authenticate your KaizenOps account.
- Display your username and account information in the app.
- Save and restore your lesson and lab progress.
- Keep each user’s account and learning records separate.
- Protect the service, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Firebase services
KaizenOps uses Google Firebase as its application backend:
- Firebase Authentication manages account creation, sign-in, user identifiers, email addresses, and passwords.
- Cloud Firestore stores the username or display name associated with an account and progress through KaizenOps lessons and labs.
Google may process limited technical information, such as IP addresses and service logs, as necessary to securely operate Firebase. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy commitments. We do not authorize Firebase data for third-party advertising.
5. When information is shared
We share information with Google Firebase only as needed to provide authentication and database services. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or the service, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Your choices and controls
- You may request access to or correction of your account information by emailing [email protected] from the email address associated with your account.
- You may request permanent deletion of your KaizenOps account and associated Firestore progress. Instructions are provided on the Account & Data Deletion page.
- We may ask you to verify account ownership before fulfilling a request.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain your account information and learning progress while your account is active. When a verified account-deletion request is completed, the associated Firebase Authentication account, username or display name, and Firestore lesson and lab progress are deleted. Limited security logs or backup copies may remain temporarily under Firebase’s normal retention and backup processes. Information may be retained longer only when required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, address security incidents, or resolve disputes.
8. Security
KaizenOps uses Firebase Authentication, ownership-based Firestore access rules, encrypted network connections, and managed cloud infrastructure to protect information. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. International processing
KaizenOps and Google may process information in the United States and other countries where services are operated. Data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KaizenOps changes. The effective date above will be revised when an updated policy is published. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate notice.
